Bobby Kotick sure loves his money. In an interview with the Financial Times, the head of Activison expressed his dislike of Xbox Live.
“We’ve heard that 60% of subscribers are principally on Live because of Call Of Duty,” he said. “We don’t really participate financially in that income stream. We would really like to be able to provide much more value to those millions of players playing on Live, but it’s not our network.”
Thems fighting words Bobby! What’s your opinion on all this? Does Bobby have a point, does Microsoft have too much over a grip over Xbox Live or does Kotick simply smell another money making opportunity.
